Methodology
- Proactive needs assessment to anticipate image usage and to implement cost effective photographic and asset management solutions.
- Close interaction with design and production teams to create the most dynamic images within project parameters.
- Shoot day coordination for maximum efficiency and work flow with digital and/or film photography.
- On the fly retouching, clipping paths, CMYK conversions and file optimization to printer and/or WEB specs.
- Effective communication with separators, (CTP) presses and/or web site engineers to ensure the highest image quality.
- Prompt product return and image delivery and implementation.
Equipment
- Megavision T32 three shot digital capture back (18MB RGB uninterpolated files).
- Megavision T2 three shot digital capture back (12MB RGB uninterpolated files).
- Five Mac work stations for imaging with two Pressview color calibrated monitors.
- Eight Broncolor studio packs with 25 strobe heads (with .1% output tolerance and color temperature control!).
- Four Sinar cameras.
- 20x20 ft overhead fly over 16 ft seamless cove. (We use only the most reliable, up to date equipment in order to shoot with efficiency and reliability.)
Facility
- 5000 square foot studio with drive-in access, large storage, staging and shooting areas plus off-street parking.
- Private client office.
- Static IP DSL line up to 1.1Mbps for broad band emailing and FTP posting.
- Twice daily New Lab pick up and delivery for film projects. The studio is insured, including liability and workers compensation insurances.
